Mae cysylltiadau da rhwng rhieni'r ysgol a'r ysgol ei hun. Mae gan yr ysgol Gymdeithas Rieni ac Athrawon (G.R.A.)sy'n weithgar iawn wrth gefnogi'r ysgol yn ariannol. Mae'r rhieni'n rhoi cymorth yn ymarferol hefyd trwy helpu allan yn y dosbarthiadau gydag amryw o dasgiau, ac yn mynychu tripiau ysgol o bryd i'w gilydd.
There are good links between the parents and the school itself. The school has a Parent Teacher Association (P.T.A.) which is hardworking in giving financial support to the school. Parents give practical support too, by helping out in class with a variety of tasks and from time to time help out on school trips.
The PTA run various trips during the year and are always looking for ideas and helpers for future events. Please come along to our meetings to hear about this year's ventures and ideas. Please contact the school for the next meeting or event.
The PTA would like to wish all parents and children a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The Christmas Disco for this year is Wednesday 20th December 6.30 until 8pm. Please come along and support the event.
Yellow Moon catalogues went out last week with great ideas for Christmas at reasonable prices. You helped the PTA raise £22.00 over the summer holiday by purchasing goods. Please do the same again for Christmas, all orders help the school raise funds.

15th July 2006 West Midlands Safari Park
The day started not so good with the coach breaking down, before it had picked us up. We then set off 1 hour behind time but all ended well. The day was very hot but everyone seemed to have a good time. We witnessed the birth of a baby bison ( I think that was the animal) and we saw lots more wild animals. A big thank you to everyone who came and supported the trip.
You all helped the PTA raise £16.00
Easter party at school on the 7th of April 2006. Children entered competitions, entry fee £1.50, to win prizes for the best decorated egg, t-shirt or Easter Bonnet. A winner from each class and category was chosen by the PTA ( thankyou to the members who helped judge) and prizes given. All children who entered received an Easter goody bag. A Big thankyou to all children and parents who took part, you all helped the PTA raise £300.
In March the PTA organised a Chinese Meal in the Crystal Palace Restaurant in Maesteg. All who went enjoyed the food and atmosphere. A big thankyou to all Mum's who attended you helped the PTA raise £200. Thankyou to all members who helped organise the event.
In January we celebrated Santes Dwynwen selling refreshments to the children, thankyou to all children and parents who attended. You helped the PTA raise £300. Thankyou to the parents who helped sell the refreshments.
