Ein nôd yn Ysgol Cynwyd Sant yw i greu awyrgylch hapus a diogel lle mae pob unigolyn yn cael y cyfle i gyrraedd ei lawn potensial.
It is the aim of Ysgol Cynwyd Sant to create a safe and happy environment where every child is given the opportunity to fulfil his/her potential.

Mae Ysgol Cynwyd Sant yn ysgol Gymraeg, sydd wedi dathlu ei hanner can mlwyddiant yn ddiweddar. Mae plant yn dod i'r ysgol o bentrefi Maesteg, a thrwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg maent yn dysgu'r pynciau i gyd.
Ysgol Cynwyd Sant is a Welsh medium school, which celebrated its half century recently. The pupils are from the villages surrounding Maesteg, and each subject is taught through the medium of Welsh.

Mae plant cynradd o 3 oed i 10 oed yn mynychu'r ysgol, ac ar hyn o bryd, mae 12 o ddosbarthiadau.
Children aged between 3 and 10 attend the school, and there are presently 12 classes.
The school is also acknowledged as an "Investors in People" establishment.
Mae'r ysgol, hefyd, wedi cael ei chydnabod fel sefydliad sydd yn haeddu teitl "Buddsoddwyr Mewn Pobl".
